Located on historic Route 66, Azusa Village is a mixed-use infill development aimed at revitalizing the city’s downtown core. The city boasts a rich heritage and many architecturally distinctive historic structures. Building on these elements, the design converts a group of older buildings into a retail/residential neighborhood that complements the main street character by creating a series of buildings that have different but complementary styles. The addition of public art, canopies, benches, bus shelters, pedestrian scaled lighting, signage, and illuminated storefronts activate the street life.
