Our first project with [BSB Design] was our Torrance location. A ground up 18.4 acre lumberyard with a rail spur. There are a total of 6 buildings including the main building with 73,000 square feet of roof top parking and 5 auxiliary buildings including a 42,000 square foot customer drive through building. And we wanted this all to feel small. From the beginning the [BSB Design] team spent time getting to Ganahl Lumber and how our customers would use the site. After Schematic Design we met regularly during Design Development where the team continued to work to get all of the details on the drawings including flows and materials that would be used in the final design. The result was the greatest design we have built to date.
