Designs for Pink Taco extended across four locations and included build outs for venues ranging from 5,000 square feet in Miami Beach to nearly 10,000 square feet in Boston. Playing off the restaurant’s edgy and urban Mexican brand and always made from scratch mantra, interior design elements and décor integrated found object artwork and industrial facade treatments alongside custom mural work. Murals, in particular, were commissioned to highlight cultural and ethnic influences of each Pink Taco location.
Interior layouts varied with each of the single or multi-floor venues, but included complete builds out of kitchen, bar and front of house elements. Bars were positioned as focal points in each location, and where possible, were connected to patio spaces by oversized or roll-up garage doors to encourage an indoor-outdoor experience.
